The Lexington Unsung Hero Awards celebrates the individuals that weave together the fabric of our city, often working tirelessly behind the scenes without seeking recognition. They embody the true spirit of community service.
This year, we honored nine Lexington residents who represent distinct and important aspects of public and civil service. From the essential heroes that keep our communities running to the community heroes that freely give of themselves to others, we know that this year’s awardees will serve as an inspiration for others and demonstrate the importance of strong civic health.
